LocationGrand Rapids MIDescriptionWe have a client in the Grand Rapids area who is looking for an IT Support Technician who will be primarily responsible for providing the first or second level support to resolve problems with products and applications, performing the setup and maintenance of computer systems, and interacting with third party hardware and/or software vendors.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Complete work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines
  • Follow procedures and policies and apply data and resources to support projects or initiatives
  • Collaborate with others, often cross-functionally, to solve business problems
  • Support the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations
  • Communicate progress and information
  • Identify and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities when possible
  • Escalate issues or risks as appropriate.
RequirementsRole Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, wireless devices, mobile devices, audio/video
  • Understanding of client server relationship
  • Understanding of Windows and 3rd party firewalls
