Acer Aspire V5-571P-6423

1. Flip the laptop over and remove all of the screws on the bottom. For the battery, insert a paper clip and press down the button to release the battery.

2. Flip the laptop right side up. Open the lid and use a plastic prying tool to pry out the keyboard by inserting the tool between the edge of the keyboard and the plastic cover (where the blue arrows are pointing) and gently pry out the keyboard. Once the keyboard is popped out, gently lift the keyboard from the top to the bottom as shown in the picture below.

3. Once the keyboard is lifted. Start by removing the power button ribbon cable, and keyboard and the touchpad ribbon cable. Now remove all of the screws that are holding down the metal plate. The red arrows without labels are where the screws are located.

Note that removing the Main/Aux cable is optional

4. From here depending on what you want to do with your laptop, such as upgrading the hard drive you can just remove the hard drive and place a new one in it or you can remove the screws, take out the motherboard and you should be able to upgrade the memory
