What is inside a hard drive?

1. Remove the 6 screws to as shown above.

2. Peel off the label and under the label there is another screw you need to remove in order to take out the metal plate.

3. Flip the hard drive over and remove the 8 screws as shown above to take out the motherboard.

 4. Once you remove the mainboard and the metal plate you will be able to see the inside of the hard drive which contains the plater, the arm, the motor, and some neodymium magnet.
