The best way to get the Google Home Mini for free without paying for the family plan is to sign up for a personal plan for 1 dollar for the first three months, then log into your account and upgrade your plan to a family plan. If you upgrade your account to a family plan your account will be charged 1 dollar for the first 2 months instead of 1 dollar for the first 3 months. After you upgrade the account to a family plan, Spotify will send you a link to your email with a coupon to purchase a Google Home Mini. Once you clicked on the link you will be taken to the Google Store, select your Google Home color and then order it.
